In 2007, she was named best actress in a Nigerian film at the Tinapa award event, earning her first movie award.

Carolyna graduated from the University of Lagos with a BSc in geography and regional planning and went on to get an MSc in International Law and jurisprudence (Unilag), an MBA (Herriot Watt business school), and several professional credentials from Lagos business school.

Carolyna is the founder of the luxury addict (hospitality), kinetic media, Hopeville foundation (an NGO for women and children),  Hutchings ltd (construction/real estate, oil and gas, agricultural, and manufacturing), and the Hopeville Foundation (an NGO for women and children).

For her efforts in business, she was recognized as the best entrepreneur of 2016. Carolyna was honored in 2017 for her humanitarian work. She received the Nelson Mandela Pan African exceptional leadership award.

Since 2012, Carolyna has worked in the real estate sector as a developer, creating affordable luxury houses, and also as an interior designer in the industry. Tulcan energy, an indigenous oil and gas firm, hired her full-time as a trade and business developer in 2018.

She was then promoted to a new department inside the corporation, the upstream department. Carolyna worked tirelessly to introduce new and unique concepts to the firm, which led to a large inflow of clients. Before her departure, Carolyna served as the project manager for retailing LPG.

In 2014, Carolyna made another award-winning movie called "Stalker." It was nominated for 12 awards and won 3 at the GIAMA in the US, including best indigenous movie at the Harlem film festival in New York.
